Hello! I’m so happy you’re here!
I was born and raised in the North Okanagan on an 80-acre farm. Yes, I can ride a horse and wrangle a chicken.
After high school, I went straight to Okanagan University College (aaaand I totally just dated myself as it is now Okanagan College -and- University of British Columbia). I enrolled for my business degree and made it part way through majoring in Marketing and Communications. I also purchased my first home at 20 years old and worked on several renovations projects. This sparked my interest in Real Estate and, in 2006, I switched gears and achieved my Real Estate License via the Sauder School of Business in Vancouver followed by an Interior Design and Construction Certificate from the University of Calgary in 2010.
I began my Real Estate practice in Vernon as an independent agent and, after 6 years of that, moved to Kelowna in 2012 to join a boutique Brokerage which operated as a team. For 6 more years I lived and worked downtown Kelowna and loved it! Kelowna is such a vibrant city and the urban lifestyle filled with business opportunities and amazing social events was a highlight. At this boutique Real Estate Brokerage, I was afforded amazing opportunities to not only be a Realtor but also be in a leadership role, work on marketing projects for the office and housing design projects for developer-clients.
In 2016, I became a Mom and in 2018 moved back to Vernon to be closer to family and prioritize work/life balance.
In November of 2018 I began the web site Do The Okanagan! An online resource for all things fun happening from Enderby to Ososyoos. Because I had grown up in the area and because being a Realtor literally sends you down every back road, I wanted to share my knowledge and passion for the Okanagan Valley with residents and visitors alike!
